Teacher Suspended For Including Lil Wayne Lyrics In Homework Assignment

           LOL, A South Florida eighth grade English teacher of The Charter Schools of Boynton Beach has been suspended after assigning Lil Wayne lyrics as part of a homework assignment to her students.

The assignment included directions to underline examples of figurative language in Lil Wayne's Cory Gunz-assisted "6 Foot 7 Foot" lyrics. 
The track by Lil Wayne includes some explicit lines:

Two bitches at the same time, synchronized swimmersGot the girl twisted cause she open when you twist herNever met the bitch, but I fuck her like I missed herLife is the bitch, and death is her sisterSleep is the cousin, what a fuckin' family picture

The school headmaster, Wayne Owens said in a statement.

"The lesson was for students to learn to identify literary devices,The teacher had already introduced Edgar Allen Poe and Shakespeare.  Students were having difficulty grasping  the concepts of literary devices such as: pun, simile, metaphor, so the teacher used colloquial material. This material did not meet the school's standards and was not approved.  The teacher recognizes that it was totally inappropriate for a school assignment." 

The teacher, who had "an unblemished record" has been suspended for three days, according to WPTV.
