Man Stabs Friend To Death Over N200 In Jigawa

The Jigawa Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps on Saturday arrested a 25-year-old man, who allegedly stabbed his friend, during an argument over N200.

The Commandant, Mr Muhammad Gidado, told the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse that the suspect, Abubakar Shehu, was arrested in Turho Village in the Kiyawa Local Government Area of the state.

“The suspect used a knife to stab one Yawale Muhammad, a resident of the same area several times in the stomach, shoulder and back, during an argument over N200,’’ Gidado said.

A police source said that the suspect had confessed to committing the crime and would soon be charged to court.
